Pakana Heritage provide archaeological artefact analysis services to satisfy the requirements of state heritage agencies in TAS, VIC and NSW.

Lithic Analysis

Pakana Heritage offers identification and analysis of Aboriginal lithic (stone) artefacts. We provide a range of lithic analysis services to the community, developers and other archaeologists.

Our analyses can be tailored to address a large range of research questions, from a simple typological analysis that simply catalogues the artefact types and materials, to highly detailed and researched technological analyses designed to address specific social and behavioural research questions.
